Brow Tinting – Etude House Tint My Brows

Welcome back gorgeous!

This post is for people who usually fill in their eyebrows before they leave the house. Of course this is mostly for those who hate spending a great deal of time filling in their eyebrows. Perhaps you’ve already looked up tattooing, or micro-blading, or other semi-permanent to permanent solutions and decided those aren’t really for you. My eyebrows aren’t horribly lacking but they aren’t very perfect either. I have a good amount of hair however I like my eyebrows more arched and long. I am here to introduce you to eyebrow tinting! It’s perfect for a busy routine where you are constantly on-the-go!

The brand I use is the Etude House Tint My Brows. Etude House is a Korean brand I really like; they have many great products I use regularly. Another product of theirs is an eyebrow pencil I have been using for a few years and I love it. The tint is great and cheap! My dream is to have brows that I can just wake up and leave the house with however, that is rarely the case for many. The Tint My Brows product is very similar to henna but comes in a few different shades. I use #3 Grey Brown. My hair is black to brown and I like my brows to be a shade lighter than my hair and the grey brown shade works really well.

The instructions are well written and detailed. You are to basically PAINT this product on your eyebrow if you’d like to peel it off smoothly. You’ll have to apply a generous amount or else when it comes to peeling it, it won’t “peel”. I believe some instructions say to peel from tail up but to avoid pulling out your own hairs, peel from the front of brow slowly toward the tail. It’s very easy, but the tougher part is to paint in the exact shape that you want. It won’t set immediately so you could use a cotton swab with some makeup remover of micellar water to fix any mistakes or straighten out the lines.

The instructions tell you that you need to leave it on for at least two hours and the more time you leave it the more color payoff there will be. I leave my brow tint on for the night and peel in the morning. My skin type is oily so I have to wash my face regularly and with a stronger face wash which is why my tint will only last me a good 2 days before slowly fading. I’m still happy with those results! I’m not very careful with avoiding products and rubbing my eyebrows, but I’m sure if you do, your brow tint will last much longer than mine did! Please try it out, let me know what worked for you and if you like it! Let me know on Twitter or Instagram @czeliot. Please leave comments as well, I ‘d love to have a discussion. 🙂

My filming area is currently under construction 😉 so I haven’t gotten the perfect video of myself using the tint, but I will update this post once I do!

Thank you for stopping by! Let me know what products you’d like to read about! Until next week!
