Hello beautiful! I would like to say Happy birthday to my seesster, Laura! Yes, this post is late but her birthday (July 22) was timely celebrated. As I have mentioned in my last post we planned for a BBQ/spa day for her birthday weekend, and that we did. The BBQ was a very nice family gathering. It was a nice hot day out and the kids were playing in a little pool. I actually didn’t get many photos during the BBQ (it was family time…) but I do have footage at the spa!
Firstly, we went to Touch to Heal Spa in Campbell, CA. The place was very clean and professional. The employees and the owner, herself, were all very hospitable. The front, reception area of the spa is large and comfortable with a little store to buy your own products for a home spa. I noticed that the massage and facial rooms are well kept and relaxing with dimmed lights and himalayan salt lamps. The spa party was in a room that we specially reserved. Aside from the drinks and snacks that we brought, there was tea and a very sophisticated water dispenser.
Secondly, I didn’t get a massage but I did get a facial. My skin has been doing its own thing and not working with me so a facial was due. Laura got a facial as well while her friends and our other sister got massages. It sure depends on who gives you the massage, but some said their massage was okay and others thoroughly enjoyed theirs. Apparently you need Jesus in your life. 😉 The girls highly praised Jesus for his satisfactory massages.
Furthermore, I’m pretty sure I fell asleep and was dreaming during my facial. It was refreshing and my skin felt very clean and soft afterward. I do self-facials ALL the time, but it’s nice to have someone else massage. It was very relaxing. My facialist’s name is Kelsey. She really enjoys what she does and she knows what she is doing.
The Spa Party
We had a hangout spot with wine, champagne and cheese since our massages and facials were at different times.
Here is the birthday girl with the owner of the spa, Rebecca. She is really nice and seems to really care about what her clients need.
I love cheese! We had goat cheese glazed with honey and walnuts. Rock Wall Winery inspired us and it was delicious.
My sister and her family-in-law go to Rock Wall Winery, on Alameda, quite a bit and always bring home loads of wine. So we had a few to bring to the spa. Laura made ice cubes with little flowers incorporated into them and it adds a fresh touch to the presentation.
Finally, that’s all on my sister’s Spa Birthday! It was nice and it’s a kind of party I’ll gladly partake in anytime! Yes, this post was suppose to go up the beginning of August! I think I’ll just make it my blog theme to apologize for putting up late posts. 🙂 At least you know I’m off doing things and I hope that you still like the content. Of course, please let me know if you have any questions about the place and leave your comments below. Your input powers my creativity.
Next post is on my trip to Utah’s Zion National park and Kanarraville Falls. Until next time!
